ARE Index

Using a benchmarking index known as ARE (Availability, Reliability and Energy) created by AIRSYS Singapore. ARE index is a scoring system to benchmark the overall cooling system design for the purpose of providing the optimal solution to DC customers. ARE value will provide customer with an intuitive and comprehensive evaluation of the cooling system design by measuring the system Availability, Reliability and Energy performance.

ARE Index = Availability X AWC + Reliability X RWC + Energy Saving X EWC

AWC: Availability Weight Coefficient

RWC: Reliability Weight Coefficient

EWC: Energy Weight Coefficient

Scoring through ARE index will help AIRSYS Singapore provide customer with a design that balance between system needs (N), redundancy design and energy performance at the preliminary design stage. This gives AIRSYS the competitive edge when comparing to other traditional design approach.
